The support made available to the volunteers in all areas is centered ont the development of their capabilities and skills in order to encourage their independence, their motivation and their personal development.
For their volunteers, the CBRS:
Prepares their welcome
Provides training
Guides them throught the services of the Center or other community organizations
Does follow-up contact.
Intervention principles
With its mission of developing and encouragin quality volunteering through community support, the CBRS applies the following intervention principles:
The CBRS supports the volunteers'action while respecting their freedom of involvement in accordance with its mission.
The CBRS supports the organizations'volunteer involvement from a community perspective wich leaves targeted groups in charge of their futur.
The CBRS does not duplicate services provided by other institutions or organizations. It aims to respond to needs that are not fulfilled within the community.
The CBRS encourages the involvement of volunteer groups in order to collectively fulfill the needs of the community.
