Since 2006, the Chambly branch has been the instigator for Operation Red Nose in the Chambly area.
Starting on the first week of December and until the 31st, anyone celebrating in Chambly, Carignan, Richelieu, St-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Marieville and Ste-Angèle-de Monnoir can request a safe ride home, by dialling (450) 658-4325 or 1-866-Desjardins. The service is available between 8.30 pm and 3.30 am. A team of three volunteers joins the driver to bring him safely back home, with his own car.

Any contribution is welcome, although the service is free. The donations are given out to youth and recreational sport organizations in the Chambly area.
Operation Red Nose began in Quebec City in 1984 and its assignment is expressed in the following terms:
« Valoriser, par une approche non moralisatrice, l'adoption d'un comportement responsable face à la conduite avec les facultés affaiblies en rendant possible l'existence d'un service de raccompagnement accessible et confidentiel, offert à la communauté par la communauté, et dont les résultats financiers profitent à des organismes locaux dédiés à la jeunesse. »
